Céline Mias
Vice President
Céline Mias has over 20 years of experience in leading humanitarian and development NGO programmes and advocacy across Europe, Africa and Asia. Since 2013 she has been EU Representative and Director of the Brussels office of CARE International, an organization working around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. She has also held the role of Vice President of the Board of CONCORD Europe since 2018.
A committed feminist, Mias has expertise in gender equality; humanitarian policy and programmes; global health; climate change and resilience; civil society space; and European Union external action policy. Céline is a French national and holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Russian from McGill University.
