It’s not the end, it’s just the beginning: now is the time to boost aid with COVID-19

On 16 April 2020, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) released preliminary statistics for 2019. The statistics show an increase of 1,4% in global development aid spending compared to 2018; a finding that is welcomed by CONCORD. However, this reaction underlines the importance of continuing to meet international aid commitments in response to COVID-19.
