Briefing on migration and mobility in EU-Africa pillar of the post-Cotonou agreement

Friday, June 14, 2019

The following policy brief outlines priorities that should be addressed in migration and mobility chapter of the future EU-Africa partnership. It is highlighted that there is little tangible action proposed regarding the protection of people affected by climate-induced displacement as well as a lack of gender considerations.

The policy brief outlines recommendations for a comprehensive, positive approach to migration in order to leverage the development benefit of migration.
