We would like to offer our condolences to the loved ones of European Parliament President, David Sassoli. We are saddened by the sudden departure of a generous leader who fought hard for the European Union and was a true friend to civil society. Sassoli was an advocate for a strong, peaceful, unified, and diverse Europe and will always be remembered as a dedicated parliamentarian and democrat.
